   Anyone tell me exactly what I need to motorise the winter train 10264. On the instructions it says to get 8884, 88000, 88002 and 8879. I know these are retired but I’m not sure which to get.    I used the original power functions train motor (mentioned above) and just a battery box. As @eMJeeNL said though, without any speed control it will go too fast and derail.    Putting a "#" in front of the set numbers will link to the entries in the BrickSet DB: #8884 - IR Receiver #88000 - AAA Battery Box #88002 - Train Motor #8879 - IR Speed Remote Control You will need all of these items to motorise the train and an iPhone will not work in place of the Remote Control for these Power Functions…
