Hello. I am buying some old Technic sets from the 70s and set 854 seems to have two sets of instructions. @sram thanks - us Technic fans are out there! Now, when it comes to playability, for me the ultimate is the little 854 Go-Kart and that never had and didn't need a figure. -

^ Not quite as impressive due to much smaller piece counts but as a child in the late 70's early 80's I could build #918 One Man Space Ship and #854 Technic Go-Kart without instructions or pictures. I may try again next time I build them, although I can feel a big fail coming on. -

A blue Technics go-kart from perhaps 1978 or so? I still have all the pieces but no instructions - I have been meaning to track it down so I can rebuild it. It was a great vehicle! That would be 854 - a great little fun vehicle and one of my first Technic sets at around the same time. Still have it, still love it! -
