Any predictions on 7869 (Battle for Geonosis)? Shall i buy it now at VIP-Double sale (and also grab some free mini tie-fighter)? I guess this set won't EOL that soon,but since it contains Captain Rex this seems to be a nice set to keep on for a while,what do you think?

^^ I think 7869 Battle for Geonosis will do well when it is retired. Why? It is a TRU exclusive, is Star Wars, is a nice looking set, and it has Capt Rex. Yup, it is overpriced, but I got most of the copies that I have at a discount. It is not a theme I am familiar with but I think 7189 Mill Village Raid will do OK too.…

^ 7189 was a hard sell for awhile, since B&N had it in stock 6 months past EOL. They only finally ran out this summer which is why the prices are only now starting to rise, so they must have had a ton of them. ^ Possibly, if you can pick them up cheap enough, but with selling fees and postal charges increasing each year, you may have to wait a few years before you even get your money back.
