#6394 Metro Park & Service Tower - I wanted this set so badly when I was a kid.

Hello fellow enthusiasts. I am new to the forum but not to the Brickset website. I am looking for opinions and advice. I just yesterday picked up the following sets: 6483 Coastal Patrol Boat (The set with the lights and sounds!), 6389 Fire Control Center and and a fairly desirable 6394 Metro Park and Service Tower. All 3…

Almost an impossible choice but I'll go for 6394 metro park, still have my original copy

I have a few MISB sets - my favorite being a sealed 6394 Metro Park & Servie Tower - but every set I have sealed, I also have an opened one.

As a 32-year-old fan of LEGO, I finally moved the boxes of LEGO from my folks' attic to the guest bedroom. Needless to say, the wife is not too pleased! My parents started me with LEGO when I was 18 months old and I still have almost all the sets/pieces from way back then. My mother used to laminate the instructions for me…

The rarest I have are probably two sealed promo sets from the late 1980s: a sealed #1484 and a specially packaged Danish Red Cross version of #6523. And while not "rare," I own a sealed #6394, and that set is, in my opinion, the greatest classic LEGO set.

It's a happy LEGO day in my house. Picked up vintage sets #6483, #6389, #6394, #1354, #5975, #7144 all new in the box! Also made a trip to the LEGO store and picked up #60051, #60152 and #60150. Now to find the time to build the newer sets.

I have #6375, #6378, #6394, #6397, and #7993, and I am trying to BL a #6371 but it is not easy as I cannot find the little pump stickers. Love the gas stations (likely overcompensation for not having one growing up), but it has been some time since #7993 (since 08-09).

I was merely making an observation relating the amount of time that I have been playing with Lego, rather than referring to specific sets. However upon research… #6394 from 1988 had a skyline in the background on some boxes. I’ve seen other copies of this set that have rolling hills instead, maybe a regional difference. My…

I admitedly have a few cool older sets still boxed in my collection - #105 and #1484 are my favorites, plus I have a sealed #6394 to go along with an open one - but I collect LEGO to build them. Most of the sealed sets in my collection are sealed simply because I haven't found time to build them, including a Tower Bridge I…
