I got #6259 built and added into the Imperial display. Not too bad of a fit in between #6276 & #6267. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how this display is coming along!

Maybe the new Soldier's Outpost is comprehensive to #6265 Sabre Island? Something like that would be nice. I have a couple, looking great around #6276 Eldorado Fortress.

Just got #6276 and #6274 with box and instructions. Found them both for £20 each. The lego is a bit dirty so will wash it before building but overall very happy with my find!

^ sacrilege! The fortresses of #6276 and #6071 were a perfect, harmonious, and symbiotic union with the raised baseplate. By contrast, here are poor arranged marriages: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=2552px2&colorID=11&in=A

The first I can recall was the 6276 Eldorado Fortress of 1989.... a Pirate System set.... But as you'll agree.... that's way different from a crater plate! So your point is pretty much valid.
