I like the Aquazone #6199 Hydro Crystallization Station. Rolls off the tongue nicely.

I've built this. The 'pooling blood' that 6199 represents has an alternate build but it is studs on top and doesn't look as good. The x169 utensil piece isn't rare. 2399 used for the base is only available in single quantities. At least you only need 4 and not 32 like the Alien build. Pony up the money and buy the PDF…

Aquazone: 1998 Hydronauts. #6199 Hydro Crystallization Station is the only Aquazone set I didn't get back then. I found one at an antique mall three or four years ago, nearly complete with instructions: missing the baseplate, two of the Hydronaut minifigs, and a few small parts. I bought two #6195 back in the day, so I…

So I just built this as my birthday gift (Im 44 today!) & my 2nd grade son asked "so what does it do?" & I really didnt have an answer. It's an interesting build to say the least & it complements my AquaZone collection, but really what is its purpose? It seems kinda hodge-podge with ideas that don't all go together. The…

Does anybody out there have #6199 Hydro Crystallization Station? I picked up a couple of bags of parts at the local thrift store yesterday, and they seem to be most of this set. There was a loose baseplate on the shelf that I ignored because it did not have LEGO on the studs. Pictures I have found several pictures of the…
