Let's see: The best find ever must be Darth Mauls bust 10018 from LS@H (of all places). Bought two for roughly $50 each. Runner-up: The Forestmens River fortress 6077 from Ebay. Complete with box in great condition for $40.

Days 3 and 4 of my reclaimation project from the 35 dollar bin! #6077 is only missing the target, and the build went surprisingly fast. Also I've attached the Black Monarch's Castle as promised. I still have so much more to build, this has really been a great jaunt into the past.

Pretty good Goodwill haul today. I saw these "grab bags" with what looked like mostly mid to late 70s parts. Lots of "stiffs", a couple of maxi figures, and some classic space and castle minifigs in really good shape. Parts for 487, 462, 585, and 6077 are mostly there. Just have to wash off all of the 1970s kids germs.…
