Well, besides all the other issues this week... including having to move all my LEGO upstairs last week because of some minor storm water problems (I moved the LEGO before the leak)... In doing so, I found the parts for 5 USA/Canada only #455 LEAR JET sets of 1975. (I once bought 30 of these on clearance, and keep finding…

Back before Bricklink/EBAY, I was ecstatic to find on clearance (at J. K. Sales) about 40 of the 455 Lear Jet sets of the mid 1970s ($2.29 each) in about 1982. This was one of the first airplane sets (only sold in USA/Canada). I loved this set because it was a great source of plates back before bulk purchases were…

This is classic story of my son hitting 5 and going to pull out my old childhood legos and finding out they are worth a decent amount. I am not a collector just a user so for me these would be for my son and I's enjoyment. I would far rather sell these to a collector and go buy 5 times as many other legos for us to enjoy.…

Not sure unpopular or not, but i would like some index pages as well at the end of the instructions, like piece A was used at steps 23, 29, 130 and 455. Piece B was used a step X, Y, Z. Specially for relly big techic sets, where if you leave out a piece, sometimes it's not noticeable, and at the end of the set i need to…

It's a £35 set and the contents (455) look like a Classic box. It is in competition with existing Classic sets like #10404 (£25 RRP, 579 parts, but often sold at £18-20). And I imagine many people have bricks like these already in their collection and rarely use them: I can understand why the numbers with it are currently…

According to Brickset's data - I have 455 sets (387 are different) and it's able to give me a count of 47,539 pieces. This would be my collection: http://www.brickset.com/search/?OwnedBy=AETerry I haven't counted any of the random elements and bricks I've gotten from LEGO's Pick-A-Brick feature or from individual sellers…
