How do Lego come up with these prices? Its the same piece count has 42043 yet no power functions and £80 more expensive. -

I do wonder also about the high price. It is a nice looking set though. But like you said compared to the 42043 it has no power functions or pneumatics. The price does seem a little high. -

The price per part is a bit of a contentious subject. On one had, you have the pins - about 35% of the part count for the Arcos (#42043) is made up of simple pins.
