today i decided to start #42043 2 of 6 stages finished and i can say that the gearbox in #42042 is far more complex then the gearbox in #42043. gearbox's aside, i think that the build of #42042 did help me get use to modern Technic type build's. even if a £59.99 RRP Technic set would have probably been a better start… -

i just finished #42042 and after being told to triple check each step. when i was working on the gear box. i still got one part wrong. and i was almost done with it to. worked out it be faster to rip down the hole gear box and start over (after i had a sleep) 2nd try was all good. so now i have a nice BIG model, to… -
