I have been working on finishing my Unofficial LEGO Sets/Parts Collectors Guide expansion (2800 pages to over 4000), and while I am currently working on the 2011-2020 sets, I keep getting side tracked with older set important information. Such as the 1650 Maersk Line Container Ship... the first Maersk LEGO set of 1974. A…

I have been trying to find a high resolution scan of the image that appears at the top of the instruction sheets for the Maersk 1650 set. The image depicts the model in its standard container ship configuration. If anyone has a high resolution scan of this image that they are willing to share or has access to the…

However, there is a much older model that has as of yet never been located on the secondary market. That is the 1959-60 era REGINA MAERSK 0751 model. This was a glued display model…

hello, been collecting and building for years. would prefer a lot sale vs. the eBay route. all have been built (unless noted), all have boxes, instructions and bags. no glue, or major color fading ect. see notes per kit. 10143, 10030, 10019, 7194, 3450, 10144, 10134, 4483, 10174, 10018, 4504. (qty.3) 10175(sealed in…

heck, 10144 released today with the same ~1650 pieces and updated minifigs would already be a $200 set. How much higher would you want the price to go? Hard to see LEGO taking it past the ~$250 range, which doesn't leave a lot of budget to add very much to it.

@mountebank I agree, the lighting was not optimal when that image was taken.... One other interesting point is that I'm not sure if Maersk blue has changed over the years... or if the color has just yellowed. Here's my REGINA MAERSK semi-MOC (using modern Maersk parts) next to an original 1650 Maersk Line Container Ship of…
