   Is it the same type of set as #10188 (collection of minifigure vignettes) or is it a miniscale model of a Death Star (like DS II was)?

   They didn't do re-releases then. Same set; snazzy box; smart marketing - #75159 would sell like hot cakes at the moment; and an EOLed #10188 wouldn't.

   Yes, you must resist, tecjam is right, it is indeed outdated and overpriced. I wouldn't call it fugly, but it's certainly not a looker either. At least it has some play value, but you pay dearly for that. I'd also rather buy three modulars instead of one 10188.    This is exactly what is happening for next year. It's going to cost quite a bit (read significantly) more though. Ask yourself - would you pay the original RRP plus reseller markup on ebay for a retired 10188, or would you pay that same price for a new updated set?

   Or it doesn't look good from any angle, no matter which way you turn it. Personally I think #10188 looks horrid from all angles. There is simply nothing 'nice' about it.
