Good things come to those who waste beautiful Saturdays chasing down Craiglist deals. Stopped at a Barnes and Noble and found a #10188 (Death Star). With membership discount and a coupon, price was $288.00. -

Death Star 10188 - $130 AUD ($125 USD) This is what started my collection. I perfect condition Death Star sat on the top shelf of my local KMart Store. Dam YOU Death Star! -

My local Walmart has a 10188 Death Star on the shelves this morning. At RRP so there it remains. They can't all be gold! Though I must say I enjoyed the seconds leading up to when the price rang up on the scanner, sort of a mini rush at least! -

The boss said 2, I'll stick with 2. :) Besides, at some point we'll just run out of room, and I do have to pay for all this silliness. :) I'm pretty sure I want to keep 10181, it is tall and impressive and will look great anywhere. I'm leaning towards 10196 because it is colorful and moves, but the reviews on Brickset say… -

Answered a Craigslist ad for a Cafe Corner. In the pictures, I could see the edges of GG and FB so I asked if he was interested in selling those as well. He responded that he also had a GE. Missing a few of the minifigs and the boxes but had all the instructions. Paid $1350.00 for all 4! Also grab a used 10188 for 300 on… -

uhhh.....I answered a Craiglist ad and ended up with a #10188 (in the shipping box so it's in perfect condition), 2x#10232 (Palace Cinema) and a 10228 (Haunted House) for $575. When asked, the guy said he loaned some money to a friend to start a toy store but it never got off the ground so the friend gave him 20+ Lego sets… -

Just Friday found a 10188 in the box priced at $240US. And a 31313 for $210. My best find ever was in 2009; a #10196 Creator Carousel, #10189 Taj Mahal, and #7784 The Batmobile UCE. I just bought this Death Star #10188 on eBay buy it now for £120. This is quite a big purchase for me. I feel a bit sick, and every so slightly er, naughty? (I haven't told the wife).
