Hello, I posted in another post, but I wanted to get specific advice about 10182. I got it at a yard sale, and it is about 90 - 95% complete. It is missing the very top roof (not the whole third level, just the roof), the minifigures, part of the cafe tables and the hotel sign. I almost did not realize what this was, and…

Secondary market values are not "perceived", they are a well established fact. The current value of a NIB Corner Cafe is running about $1700.00 - $2000.00 per the sales data posted on Bricklink: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?S=10182-1&ColorID=0 and Brickpicker: http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=10182-1…

I gave up on piecing together my own Cafe Corner (10182) and Statue of Liberty (3450), so I just bought them - without boxes though (which I normally don't do). Happy Valentines Day to me (until the wife finds out).

There are 3 left and 3 right, all have some damage to them most would have the switch posts broken while others have a stress mark or the tie broken off at the connection point. I am also including 6 9V curves that have a bit of warp to…

Someone commented recently that this year is shaping up to be a great one for AFOLs. That got me thinking, how great have the past 5+ years been for AFOLs, so I looked at the sets from each yet and picked out the ones that I'd want to keep from each year. I'm curious as to other's thoughts, are there any weak years (I…

Hi there, OK, I decided to go ahead and sell the Cafe Corner "as-is" rather than trying to complete it. It is really close to being done, but I am going to let someone else have that joy! =) I was planning to sell it on Ebay, but I thought I would offer it here first to save everyone the Ebay fees. Thank you to all of…

^ Yes that is part of the challenge/fun. I’ve built several extra levels for the Cafe Corner and there is A LOT of color difference in the Reddish Brown bricks. Interesting thing is that my original #10182 has color variation in it also. The picture shows a level I put together without paying attention to color disparity.

Hello, I am looking for a little advice for selling LEGO's. I came across a huge lot at a yard sale last weekend, and I am in way over my head! My son loves and plays LEGO's all the time, but I don't know much about all of the different sets, and for sure not anything about selling them. Well, over the last week I have…
