I think a wider point has been massively overlooked here, it's naive to think of any set as "the new UCS Falcon" because frankly the market is entirely different. There are so many more resellers, investors and speculators on the Lego market now and Lego is at the peak of it's popularity meaning far more are being bought…

Nothing bad ever happens? Not a problem? A little girl was just molested last month at a Chuck E Cheese here in my city. 2 years ago a little girl was kidnapped and raped, murdered, and dismembered while walking to school 10 miles away from my house. Go to any busy area made for kids and I can point out the potential…

Did anyone consider the fact the next generation of the family doesn't want to run it? Just because the current generation is all about the family business doesn't mean the next or the next or the next will be. Saying it will NEVER happen is naive. Saying that accidents don't happen is naive. What if they get hit buy a bus…

@jadeirene I'm sorry it didn't work out. I picked mine up yesterday (see post above) and they had a small number of 20215 Invention Designer left. I didn't check for any other MBA kits at this store or any other because my son's collection was missing only the one. I can't imagine they're weren't honest with you. I'm not…

^I have been shocked at some of the poor age regulation on games in the passed, but then even worse seen parents buying GTA5 for kids who looked to be about 8 when it's got an 18 label right on the box, I can't imagine them doing the same with DVDs, but then maybe I'm just being naive.

^The Emperor, Vader, the SSD and the 2nd Death Star being destroyed would obviously have had a huge impact on the state of the galaxy, but the Empire wouldn't have just shrivelled up overnight. The added victory scenes at the end of the special edition RotJ are a bit naive; would everyone in the Star Wars universe really…

Thank you all for your input. I knew I could rely on you Bricksetters :-) I am the exact opposite of a technical whiz so I have no clue on all the resolution and editing stuff. I naively thought any picture would be ok :-) The pose doesn't bother me at all or the fact that the bow is partially obscured. I really like what…

Hi All I received a box of mixed emotions today. Initially I skipped up to the delivery chap all smiles and joy. Yay! It's my exo suit, coin bank and Halloween thingy!!! The world is a happy place! Upon opening the brown carton of promise......doom, despair and much gnashing of teeth. "It's the wrong Lego, Gromit!" Alas, I…

Quite a few people have mentioned that they would buy copies of the very expensive, out of budget and therefore unobtainable sets... My advice, based on first hand experience, is DON'T bother! i have bought one of these sets. I convinced myself to buy it based on the rationale id never own the real one. Whilst I can't…
