    With 8404 I noticed a difference on UK vs EU sets, the EU sets had some European toy award that it had won as a logo on the front box art.

    According to the Lego email customer contact centre, the tram set http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=8404-1 will retire towards the end of this year/ possibly early next.

    The bigger question is... is it worth stocking up on multiple Town Squares, even at that price? Perhaps, but something to consider is that TRU might well have it forever, the way they had the #8404 Public Transport forever...

    splitting into seperate bags/ minifigs is a good idea, e.g. pulling the tram from 8404 or the minifigs from whitecap bay etc. Allows people to get just the bit they want at an affordable price.
