Are you going to implement the PirateShip in the back on the ride? Lego already did so, it's called #31084 Pirate Coaster. ;) I'll follow your project closely, and with great admiration. Will get my own #10261 on the 4th of August, and guess will stay with the original design for the layout. Good luck!

It’s
a New Year and I have decided to clear out some of my collection – to make room
for more, of course! Posting themes instead of a giant list. (My “For Sale” list is https://brickset.com/sets/mycollection-flag1/runas-jedivalkyrie) All sets are complete with minifigs Loose: * Some sets have been

Looks really good! Will do the sameish thing soon. Did you also get some of the "slope" pieces from #10261? (these: https://brickset.com/parts/design-26561). When on the phone with LCS, I discovered these pieces actually were also made in LBG, but never released. Shame for us #31084-MODders.

Thats a pretty simple part out :) I'm in the middle of 3 x #31084 - It's the putting away the parts that drains the time. I can see why some people don't consolidate lots. I have a pretty bug shame pile right now and I've promised myself I'll get that down and listed before buying too much more.

I loved the idea of the Skull Ride from #31084, and reckoned a motorised version should be easy enough. Not as easy as I thought, but here’s what I’ve done so far. As you might spot, there are some variances in some of the photos as I tried various ideas and methods. And here's a video of the ride more fully assembled (but…

All my items are, new, like new or in excellent un-played with condition. Postage costs need to be added if I'm selling to you. Sets: #10123 Cloud City, used, built once but never displayed, complete but without Lando £550, I'd would consider selling complete with Lando for £675 (ovno). I would also consider selling…

I am so jealous right now. Lucky you. On a different note: I just finished building #31084 Pirate Coaster, and already contemplating how to turn it into a WinterCoaster... Guess the shark-carts are either going to be deer- or sled-carts (or both); the skull will be replaced by a Christmas-tree, and the boat... dunno yet.…

As a quick thought, it might be worth getting https://brickset.com/sets/31084-1/Pirate-Roller-Coaster - I've seen it on offer a few times. As well as a fun build, it has plenty of brown and green bricks your son could use to make trees and landscapes. You should be able to get creative and replace the brown / green parts…
