I built my third #10497 as the #918 version. I am very excited for the rumored early 2023 Blacktron GWP.

I was planning on building 918 tomorrow... do you have all three?
-
Absolutely! I have the 918 & 924 bricks, so I have to use them :-) Ideally I need a third Galaxy Explorer, but I'll cope.

My lightly modded #10497, alternate "924", and original #924 (#487 in the U.S.). With all the leftover parts from the second #10497, the alternate "918" will require only a few parts from my collection.

So I have three #10497, built as 928, 924, and 918. I was wondering if the leftover pieces were close to what would be neede to build another 928. Fairly close, and many of the additional parts are hidden, so I set aside what can be used, and looked at the... leftover leftovers. So I built this!

I want to make a Blacktron version too, but, Oh boy! the black 6 x 3 slope is super-rare... I'd pay £5 +postage for one, if anyone has one and felt like doing…

Might just be me, but the baseplate in the middle of the 2nd row is catching my eye as out of place! Would've looked more orderly if the "road/runway" was pointing downwards to join up with the centre plate as well as the plates left and right adjacent? Wish I'd held on to my childhood classic space from the 80s, as an…
