Yesterday I finished my Classic Space remake fleet using a bunch of Bricklink orders that came in over the holiday weekend. Now I've got fully modern versions of the 1978 sets 918, 924, 926, and 928 (two versions of the 918, a single-seater and a two-seater), plus a modern 6894 Blacktron Invader and a modern 6931 FX Star…

@KungFuKenny, that is beautiful! Still need to find parts for this! Nice Calvin & Hobbes collection on the shelf behind #918 too.

Waiting for August 1st for #10497 Galaxy Explorer... Contemplating taking the day off to go to Mall of America and wait for the Lego store to open... I know how you feel! Recently bought #918-1 100% complete with box and instructions only to find the 4x4 plate was replaced with a 1x4 plate and two 2x3 plates! Seller was pretty good at sending a replacement part though...

I've found a couple on eBay, one with amazing printing on the moon, but the 918 brick has faded to an odd greeny blue now. The others are the correct colours, but with scratched printing. And one is perfect except they've got the LL928 bricks in the set! The search continues, but £40 seems to be the price

A couple of days of LEGO bargains for me. Chance wander into a charity shop in town netted my Battle of Hoth and Harry Potter Hogwarts games for £5, both almost complete, with only a two or three pieces missing. Today I had to pop into Sainsburys for the Mrs to get some bits for tea and picked up the Speedchampions Porsche…

I was inspired over the weekend ( largely by @Mr_Cross ) to work on re-working #6861 X1 Patrol Craft into a Blacktron 1 color scheme... Pleased with the results, I was able to add a few others from existing parts, including BT versions of #891 , #897 , #918 , and #6823 ... Next weekend I’m planning on staging an epic…
