#8421 will not be hurt by #42009 in any way. They will only help one another. #8421 for the fans and #42009 for the Wealthy fans. -

8880 and 8480 still doing OK for me. Sun damage and expensive spares keep good examples in demand. 8285 and 8275 sell quicker than 8421 these days. -

#8275 and #8285 go for insane prices as well, no clue what the retail for them was though. 42009 will surely decrease the price of 8421, who would pay double for an inferior model in every way? -

New 8421 are at nearly $1000, good used ones at $400, new 8053 have just reached $200. Now could be a good time to clear out old stock as I think 42009 (when it arrives in summer) will hit these sets hard. I bet 8110 will be cheap mid year too. -
