 Lego had the Lamborghini license at one time, sets 8169 and 8214.

Yeah, I really want the 8169 but missed it when it was in production - and have you seen the aftermarket prices?! Yikes!

 I hear ya....I have 8214 and am not that in love with it. 8169 is MUCH much better. Maybe next wave they'll get the license back? It would be nice to get a diverse collection, and some Japanese cars would be nice. Mazda RX-7, Nissan GT-R, Toyota MR2.

I cannot agree more with these 2 statements. I have both Lambos and #8169 is the better one with the functional top folding into the trunk. A beautiful mechanism that has not been replicated since. And 90's Import Racers go straight to my heart, with the beloved MR2 Turbo on top of the list. I had 2 of those back in…
