^I heard the exact same story about the AT-AT #8129.

Shall I buy a bunch of 8129 MISB for 129 Euro? Hello, I found a store today which has about 6 AT-AT 8129 on shelf. Is it ok to buy them for this price or are they not worth that much and wonÄ't be collactible? M.

Most recent example I can think of are AT-ATs #10178 and #8129, both were available simultaneously at S@H for a couple of months

8129 isn't much of a surprise, as the AT-ATs always seem to do very well after EOL. 10198 is more surprising, though not completely unexpected.
-
8129 has done very well... 10198 also has done better than I thought it would, considering how many times it was on sale and how fragile it is.

@Bandit (10178) was an AT-AT under the UCS category. It was motorized and had 1100+ pieces. Does anyone know if the at-at (8129) can still be found anywhere? TRU has it on their website, but its out-of-stock
-
Yes you're right about the 3-4 years: 8129 (2010), 10178 (2007), 4483 (2003). I can only hope they make a new one. Coming to grips that I just missed the boat though.

I noticed they restocked items they have been out for a while. Target was actually out of the DS to my surprise for at least a week. Target restocked the most including the DS, modulars and some other SW. TRU also has the SSD again which I am contemplating buying. Was 8129 really available from TRU earlier? I still want…

10198 looks very nice if you throw it up on a pair of stands though. I actually like its look better then the #10019 despite being a bit smaller. Regret missing out on the 8129. It's sadly the "one that got away"

However, this thread did not save me from 8129 AT-AT Walker going EOL on me by surprise. I called every Lego B&M in the US, no luck. Prices have jumped quite a bit since I found out.
