Curious - what are some of the past "Technic aftermarket" Hall of Famer sets from the past few years? A quick search showed some nice returns for 8053 and 8265. -

New 8421 are at nearly $1000, good used ones at $400, new 8053 have just reached $200. Now could be a good time to clear out old stock as I think 42009 (when it arrives in summer) will hit these sets hard. I bet 8110 will be cheap mid year too. -

8053 has done well price-wise, but it is a slow seller. I had about 40 of them, still have 28 left. I didn't stock up on 8043 for that reason, it will go up in price, but sell slowly. The issue is that before someone pays $400 for 8043, they could buy a pair of the new 4x4 crawler which also is RC and PF. The best retired… -

Just noticed that the 8053 (Technic Crane) is doing quite well after EOL. Pretty much doubled in price in less than 1 year. That bodes well for the 8043 (Excavator). Plus the excavator builds 2 vehicles, it also can be a tracked loader. Both are very impressive vehicles. I think the Technic dozer set only built the dozer,… -

I do have several new sets that just arrived... my wife loves that they are in front of the fireplace, but I keep telling her that they are all sold out, or soon to be sold out and will be gone soon. :)</blockquote Fireplaces are overrated anyway... I would love to know, outside of UCS models, what Lego sets are in high demand that don't come with minifigures. You guys are on the clock. GO!!! 66 is just about on par with how many EN's I purchased. I have sold 38 EN's since EOL, so used a lot of that money to buy IS's. I paid around 169 Eur for each IS so not a bad price.
