It is set number 75187 and 88, 89, 90 are all Last Jedi sets so think it is part of that range.

Possible, OTOH UCS sets don't really get a "special" set number. And haven't the sculptures always been D2C/UCS in the past? This BB-8 is on the lower end of piece count for a sculpture of course. Still hard to imagine seeing it on the shelf of my local supermarket. So, this #75187 BB-8 might dash any hopes for a new UCS…
