6860 has been out 2 years, clearly it "should" be going out. It is not, however, on the list... Almost everything else from the first wave in 2012 is on the list, but 6860 is absent. Make of it what you will.

Normally, but then ... #6860 ... So the Batcave was _officially_ retired since 12 Nov 2013.

10937 has not been doing well, same for Batcave 6860. LEGO re-seller overstocking meets LEGO Batman oversaturation.

Wow, that new batcave is super expensive. #6860 should still be a good alternative, although I doubt the price will get past $130 with the amount in the aftermarket.

After seeing the Classic Batcave, my first thought was about #6860 and if it would transplant well into the new Cave. My feeling is that yes, it would be a nice compliment with a little mod to extend the footprint and make space for it just behind the middle section with computers.

^Those states still exist? And yes, that Batcave is exciting. Thinking about the impact on #6860 (a wildly awful set)...from an investment perspective, it's pretty much screwed to cap at $100-$125, and now, looks like a Juniors set compared with the 60s Batcave reveal.

So what's everyones thoughts on the Batcave #6860? It's being clearanced off around here at Target and Meijer for 25% off. It will hit the 2 year mark at the end of this year. I'm guessing it disapears from
[email protected] after the holidays and will do nicely by christmas 2014, but how nicely is the questions.

@LegoFanTexas I wasn't commenting on resale value, just coolness factor. I own #7783 and I just looked up the prices on Bricklink. Is it just me, or has the price of this set actually gone up in the past few months? I would have thought since #6860 was out it would have made the previous model cheaper.

#6860 was clearanced out at a lot of walmarts a few months ago and was part of a big online sale that Target had just a couple of weeks ago. The online price was $49.60 and Amazon lowered their price in turn. They sold out at both locations within a few hours. So, recent markdowns may explain the drought. The only store…
