   ^true, but there is one exclusive figure in 6212 - Hoth Han.......although there are similar incarnations in 7749 & 7879 , completists will need 6212.

   ^ 6212 should never do much, given that the newer X-Wing is such a better set. 6212 was out for 5 years, "limited edition" indeed! :) 4841 and 8129 are the two really good sets that he has, those two have already gone up to about double RRP.

   The 6212 set was designated "Exclusive! Limited Edition" on all that I have, but it was available forever. Not LE in any way, shape, or form. I agree...but find it interesting that a set that was around forever is actually doing well in the aftermarket; even with the release of a newer and better designed X-Wing.…

   ^ Good points. But, another thing that hurts the 6212 was that it was out for 4 years. Allowing most people to get it if they wanted. Course, not everyone does, but being out for that long means more supply. Just saying, it's relative. There are better SW LEGO sets to bet on than the 6212. It's iconic and all, but was out…

   Another problem with 6212 is that the only portion of it that's exclusive as far as the minifigs go is Wedge's helmet, so you don't even have the minifigs working to drive the price of that particular set up.

   ^--- Agreed, but the added part is of finding out what are the older sets that you want and get those first as those will most likely be the ones to be gone first. Unless it is a 6212 XWing of course.

    It is the same reason I didn't stock up on 6212, the last gen X-Wing, the new model is far superior. I can see a much better MF in a few years...
