   Unless it says so on the box then no - it's just another set following in the footsteps of 60026 Town Square and 8404 Public Transport Station.

   With this being the first Lego City set over 1000 pieces excluding product collections, has this set been made to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Lego City. I think so. What do you guys think?

   Lego hasn't been big the anniversaries of themes. The only one I can think if SW and that was pretty low key. Beside City/City World/Town are all the same thing. There's no break, it's all one continuation.

   I've noticed a growing trend toward sets that can "help fill out a growing city". Similar to how people get into the modulars and keep expanding their collection with each new release. You are seeing more and more sets being released that are just generally good for a growing city. Smart thinking LEGO...smart thinking.

   I believe the Town Plan is/was more 'Creator' than 'City'.
