Will continue to build 42030 kit when I get home from work

Was graciously given #42030 (assembled, no box or instructions). It's my first Technic set of this size. To be sure that all the pieces were there, I disassembled it in one sitting... I've never felt finger pain like this before. Besides that, can't wait to rebuild it.

today i decided to start #42043 2 of 6 stages finished and i can say that the gearbox in #42042 is far more complex then the gearbox in #42043. gearbox's aside, i think that the build of #42042 did help me get use to modern Technic type build's. even if a £59.99 RRP Technic set would have probably been a better start…
