   I have both, and i really like both but would recommend 10188 because it will retire soon.

   Personally, I am a huge advocate of the SSD, I think it is a spectacular model and is my favourite UCS set for display. However, the Death Star is certainly much more fun and something of a definitive set, so I would go for #10188.
