i wanted people's take on this. Which one is better to own? I own 10179 and was open to the idea of trading it for something else but I'm not sure if I really want to. Thoughts?

^ So true. Only the ultra completionists with the money and space to display both are going to pay much more than the RRP of 75192 for a 10179, which overall isn't as good as the 10179.

Worst case for me will be, I will someday build my #10179 which I paid $350 for and will give my son the #75192.

I have both in sealed boxes....I think I will build 75192 and keep 10179 sealed. Eventually I'll probably sell it.

I think I'm leaning more towards selling my 10179. After being evaluated during the fires it made me think about somethings.

Well between Bricklink and Ebay well over 100 of the 10179 Millenium Falcons are now for sale.... the window of opportunity for selling it for a hefty return has already passed. One can say what they want about 'rarity'.. with that many for sale at one time... rarity is no longer an issue.

I used to want to collect all the ucs sets, but now I think the old ones I don't have I'll just get the newer set if one is available. I was just gonna open and builds 10179 at some point if 75192 never came out
