10198 looks very nice if you throw it up on a pair of stands though. I actually like its look better then the #10019 despite being a bit smaller. Regret missing out on the 8129. It's sadly the "one that got away"

Here's the problem with 10198 (I think) - It doesn't appeal nicely to either main camp of collector. For kids, it doesn't really have the requisite play features or stellar cast of minifigs... never mind that two of the minifigs have had updated versions issued since. #10019-1 Ditto, this one is not in high demand, I'm not even sure it rates as "demand" anymore. Minor bits of buying here and there, but the fact that price has fallen since Christmas and it has been out so long, it just isn't going anywhere any time soon. Just one person's opinion...

Most of the Lego sets have a bell curve, they rise for a few years, level off, then start to drop. I sold a few copies of 10019 before Christmas for a higher price than they are going for now. That being said, this is Summer, so they might rise again for this Christmas, but I think that set has long since reached its peak.…
