The bricks in the first pic are modified 1x2 brick with masonry profile and can be found in a lot of modern sets such as the forest police station and some friends sets. Part no 98283. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=98283

If it's any help, the masonry brick (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=98283#T=C) is available in both Medium Nougat and Brick Yellow. Also even in Sand Yellow (Dark Tan).

I need the '98283 - Profile Brick 1X2 Single Gro.' in '37 - Bright Green' and '141 - Earth Green' if LEGO decide not to release 'The Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop' which was heavily rumoured twice for a late 2015 release.

LEGO certified store at Marion had 2 decent pieces in the PaB wall, 1x2 light bluish grey masonry profile #98283 and olive green small leaves #2423. Wonder what my chances are getting a second grab when I go back Jan 2nd for the modular?

The "brick" brick (98283) have been made in red sometime ago but never appeared in any set However, f it is a fire station this would be the perfect time to for TLG to re-introduce sand red to see if the set will fly of the shelves Sand blue and green is still going strong so I don't get why this colour is gone

Yes, they are on Bricks and Pieces element number 98283 at 19p (UK price), but there's quite a few sellers on Bricklink that are cheaper, though I guess it all boils down to the shipping costs going to Canada. I think the price has gone up a bit on the Lego site recently. I'm sure they were cheaper when I bought mine.

Yeah I fully expect a lot to not like these sets as there is not much new to them really, very similar to previous releases and no big sets that appeal to the larger AFOL crowd. I like them as I missed the original pirates, as when they were released I just became a teenager and Lego took a back seat to other "pursuits". I…

As someone who uses LEGO in the form of art I'm happy with the challenge of using existing parts, it's mainly recolours that limit the physical models. Recently I've wanted to to built Monica's Apartment in the style of 21319 Central Perk with a bent wall; however the lack of purples, oranges and potentially blues in basic…
