I just bought a nice-looking #926 Command Centre on eBay, to add to my Classic Space "up to about 1981, blue, grey, trans-yellow" collection, which just leaves me with #924 and #6861 to go! :-)

As others have said, its looks like it's open so it's accessible for play. Lego have a long history of doing this, #926 is a good example, the astronauts behind the invisible wall / airlock have their airtanks off so it has to be a sealed room with an oxygen supply right?

Appreciate all of the info people. @sirrich69 pointed out quite a lot of bits yesterday and I think that most of #926 and #928 are present. Ill be attempting to put together these sets and any others I see but if anyone notices anything else, feel free to point them out.

90 minutes later Amazon is down from 946 to 926, so they sold 20 sets in 90 minutes... Not bad for Sunday night at 11pm. :) They will sell those out by Christmas, that is for sure. The question becomes, will they restock? Nothing stops Amazon from buying 50,000 sets, they can handle it and it would keep them in stock for…
