Thank you for sharing. Really lovely to see these things occasionally. Such a great colour scheme. I'm actually astounded by what they did with just 121 parts and two minifigures... there is a lot of play value in it. I'm realising almost as nostalgic about this set as I am about #918.

That's not a stove top - it's the controls for a #918 spaceship! *wonders why he ever sold his #918 and heads to eBay*

I don't doubt that there is appetite out there for more Classic Space LEGO. I'd simply love to be able to buy #918, #928, or #6985 as a "legacy" edition set, similarly I'd like to see #6080 done the same way... perhaps a 'greatest hits' range has legs, but on the evidence of the Legends theme I'm not convinced it…

This is a heavily edited version of an article I wrote for New Elementary (available on their Patreon site previously). For my fifth birthday, I was given a #918 ‘one man spaceship’. The same #918 ‘one man spaceship’ pictured below, it's bitten, scratched and sun damaged… but still my original set from 1979. I recently…

Not if you've got a #918 and you've been imagining a heap of crazy things from having been shut in for seven weeks!

Like most people, I have too much Lego (all things being relative) and too little space. My small Lego "City" of modulars (PC, PS, PR, DO, BB, AS, DD & CG) is permanently up on two Ikea tables in my study, with BS to be added soon, along with a load of City, TLM and other vehicles and small sets. Additional to that I have…

Very late to the Speed Champions party, and thankfully I don't want to collect them all, but these look pretty good so I'm on a mission to grab them if anyone has spares. Want:- #75908 458 Italia GT2 #75909 McLaren P1 #75910 Porsche 918 Spyder #75872 Audi R18 e-tron quattro #75873 Audi R8 LMS Ultra #75977 Mercedes-AMG GT3…

My #918 from way back in 1979 had spare pieces, iirc it was only one 1x1 trans red and one 1x1 trans green that came with it though, maybe there was a light grey 1x2 or 2x2 plate too? It's a long time ago and I've been to sleep since then. I definitely remember I had spares with many (but definitely not anywhere near all)…

It is my pleasure to host the Bonusball this week. On my occasional lurks elsewhere I've seen folk sharing when they've acquired their White Whale. I obsess about LEGO, I have been very lucky and have obtained many of the sets I have wanted in any prolonged way. You could say I've hunted down a fair few White Whales. My…

He's got some good stuff. Really good actually and it might clean up really nicely, and it might all be complete. Even so, I would want to score this job lot for around £120 but definitely no more than £150. Actual estimate of value based on 918, 6970, a couple of ships I can see and three other models I know are worth…
