Hi all Just after 1 8884 IR receiver and a 8883 M-Motor. Looking at around £15 for both items. Hope someone has a spare on both items. Cheers

I recently built Carousel 10257 and added medium motor 8883. I then added a custom sound box to it. But the motor turns it so fast and the gears make so much noise that I can’t really hear the music. Is there a way to slow down the motor so it spins slower and quieter? Or make the gearing quieter? The motor itself isn’t…

I've started a big LEGO project where my objective is to create an ever more complex and cool rollercoaster. I'm challenging myself not only to get it all working on a technical level and properly built, but I am also bigtime into design and I want it to be interesting and cool. What I've bought so far: 2x #10261…

Because the main issue is cost, as the Power Function (PF) line is all discontinued, and its replacement, the Powered Up line, is frankly overpriced. The PF m-motor set number is #8883. The PF…

I just tested this. I used solar panel #87578 and measured the power output. It varied between 3.6 and 5 volts. Enough to lite a couple of #8870 Power Functions Light but not enough to power the small Power Functions M-Motor #8883.If I could test it again under ideal sun light conditions I don't think I get enough power…

If it is creator sets like the fairground sets then he will want m motors and a battery box. He may also want an ir receiver and ir remote control. If technic then there are more motor types, but starting with m motors is probably a safe bet. However i I would recommend starting with a set that is already motorised. The RC…
