I have noticed that old classic Technic sets (like 8448, 8880, 8479, 8868 etc.) have lost their values lately. Earlier they are selling at insane prices. Now their prices at Ebay is much lower. May be those sets are now showing their age (20+ yeras) and newer Technic sets offer more.
