Hi all. I'm new to this site but I have just purchased a vintage 810 Town plan set. It was not complete but over a period of time I have now completed the set apart from a red VW Beetle which I have yet to purchase. So the continental European 810 was sold in 9 countries, and the UK 810 was sold in 3 countries... So then why is the UK 810 version of this set 20 times as plentiful on the secondary market as the cintinental European/Japan version?? Don't really know the answer to this... except perhaps very few of the continental…

@wagnerml2 Good choice on the Town Plan #810 set. That iconic 1962-67 set is very very collectible today... and was a LOT of fun to build.

Interestingly enough... one LEGO set had a church on the box top, but the set never had the parts necessary to build that model. That would be the continental European 810 Town Plan set of 1961-66. There were not any small classic windows included to build many of the models on the box top (left box). Only the models shown…
