I'm pretty sure stock etc is hit or miss depending on which stores you go to, but I saw 8096 today at the Home Sense in Etobicoke across from Sherway Gardens. It's $59.99 which is $20 less than the regular retail price. It's not on the LEGO website anymore, so maybe it's discontinued?

New stock just keeps appearing at some Walmarts.. today in Commack, NY it was 8096-1: Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle and 8085-1: Freeco Speeder. At 50% off, I couldn't leave them there and got about a half dozen of each. Keep checking your local stores!

Hi, has anybody got the above set? What is it like? What are the good/bad features of the set? Impulse buy from ebay with only a couple of the minifigs and not delivered yet. Thanks.

I just picked up 8095 at lunch. I overheard an associate talking to another customer that 8095 & 8096 went on sale midweek as they half price sales they had in the flyer sold so quickly that customers were mad and couldn't get a raincheck so they put these to sets onsale as well to appease customers. Nah "CA" is fine.
