My first set as a kid would have been #487. As an adult collector, the first one I stumbled upon was the #7190, from there it has all been downhill.

^ But the #7190 at least had the cockpit in the right place (2:00 or so, compared to all the others' 1:30) and more accurate mandibles- IMO, anyway. But this year's version is the best.
