#263 Lego Kitchen. It was a gift for my 3rd birthday in 1975. I can remember opening it and spent hours playing with it. I do still have it, (no stickers, and definitely in a "played with" condition). I have loved Lego ever since. I also still have and cherish #695, bought for my by my late Father. Happy memories!

I actually think the prices are pretty much in line with comparable City sets. (speaking in US terms): Olivia's House 69.99 for 695 pieces Heartlake Vet 39.99 for 343 pieces City Park Cafe 29.99 for 222 pieces Beauty Shop 24.99 for 221 pieces Tree House 19.99 for 191 pieces Convertible 14.99 for 130 pieces 5 other sets are…

Ironically in 1965 the 261-268 garage sets were replaced by 661-668 cardboard box sets... which were not quite as cool... Ironically the last of the garages in continental Europe were used up in 1966-67 6 Auto Multi-packs (695/696).... but in the USA these garages lingered for a few more years, finally disappearing in the…

@LusiferSam I'm trying to dig up more on that very obscure Oxydol set... unlike these others which were mail-order sets... this one was a mail-order promotional set in a brown box. I may have a copy of that box somewhere... still looking. I think that with the LEGO parts all being red, white and blue, I believe that…

@LusiferSam By 1972 USA Samsonite was dumping all their LEGO inventory (almost all red, white and blue parts)... and you will find the same sets in different packages for different promos. The Samsonite LEGO 102 Basic Set (for regular retailers) has 426 parts, and is basically the same set sold (in brown boxes) as Sear's,…

I am hopeful that my guesses of set prices are accurate, but admittedly, some of the sets in the Architecture series have been overpriced. I'm also estimating the costs based on rough guesses of the number of bricks for each model. The US Capitol could easily contain anywhere from 900 to 1500 bricks depending on the exact…

OK.... I've been doing a lot of research on LEGO of Canada before I started my LEGO Encyclopedia Volume series for China, and learned a lot about their wonderfully "quirky" way of packaging sets... sometimes without set numbers. That black LEGO "stiffs" torso of the 1970s was last used in 1980-83 in the 1592 Town Square…

Thank you very much for commenting here. I have tried ebay and nothing happened for weeks, I tried lowering the prices too. All what it seems that I have to give it away for under its value, but that's not going to happen. Last time when I posted here my Lego Fabuland and have put prices on it, nothing happened here…
