@Mr_Cross Let me know if you don’t track these down- #6861 is on my “to buy” list so I’ll have instructions sometime in the next couple of months

I don't see #6861 or #6901... :)

Yeah, stupid me! Especially so considering I bought a second #6861 for the parts! I'm thinking of doing #6861 in all the various Space color schemes, inspired by your #918 variants. Plus one in white, teal, medium azure, and magenta- for Sweet Mayhem! (that gif is awesome!)

Hi all, I'm looking to buy the following two Classic Space sets from 1980: #6861 X1 Patrol Craft #6901 Mobile Lab If you have either for sale, please pm me with details and costs. Cheers, JC

A bit off topic, but I did not know there was a super model for MTron.. Interesting. I can kind of see why that occurred, but they couldn't just put the inventory of all three sets into the inventory for #6862 (and it was probably already there anyway at some point)?Especially since #1593 (and more to the point…

Err, how can I give you more than one "like"?? ;-) That's an impressive achievement! Wow, I would *love* to see all of those together! Please do share whatever pics you do have. My own (limited) Classic Space collection is still missing #6861 X1 Patrol Craft and #6901 Mobile Lab (both very difficult to find in Europe), as…

I had a few of those myself, #6861 #462, #452, and #442. I don't think I ever owned a set that came with crater plates, but you could also buy them separate for a while. I don't think that tan colored crater plate ever existed.

I'll put my 2 cents in. You don't own the legitimate set if you don't atleast have the instructions. Look at the Ebay selling prices for sets without instructions versus with instructions. Now about the M-tron 6862 and Blacktron 6861 Super Models. If I remember correctly, the instructions were available world-wide to Lego…

Here's one I found while searching completed highest price Lego auctions. It's certainly not rare or graded or even sealed. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Space-Classic-X-1-Patrol-Craft-kit-number-6861-complete-with-instructions-/261089712189?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cca28d83d
