Hi all I thought I'd post this here and see if any interest before venturing onto eBay / Facebook Market place.... My plan to try and replace broken & lost parts and get the hydrogen peroxide out to whiten parts and restore my remaing classic space sets has bit the dust as I don't seem to have the time to work on it, so…

Got talking to a lady that I only see once or twice a year, and somehow the subject got round to LEGO. (I think I was reading Brick By Brick at the time.) Anyway, to cut a long story short, she said she was going to take a carrier bag full of LEGO to the charity shop so I gave her £10 as a donation and said I'd take it off…

6870, 6822, 6927, 6823, 897, 6844, 6847, 6871, 6842, 6880, 6821, 6971, 885, are sets my son is interested in. It would depend on whether they had all the pieces and where you are shipping from. So shoot me a PM if ya can. Thanks.

@jadedanc - the 2x2 that comes apart isn't supposed to come apart. It looks like the Arm Holder for the "snake" arm - both are present in set 6821 - Shovel Buggy. The windows are indeed very old, they are part number 646, and was produced way back in the 50s until early 70s. The 1x4 tile with the printed pattern is a "1x4…

Hi, Like many people here, I played with LEGO as a child, but grew up and discovered other pursuits. However, now that I have twin five year old daughters, who have discovered the delights of building mad towers of bricks, I've sort-of caught the bug that a lot of people on here seem to have! It all started when we all…

Hi, Normally bit of a lurker as I'm a new AFOL just coming out of my dark age (rediscovered enthusiasm whilst collecting Lego Friends sets for my daughters). Posting this as I think there's some interesting sets I've picked up. Saw a advert for some old classic lego sets for £60, few boxed sets that looked like good…

Classic Space has it's 40th next year... so I'm going to "predict" (with all my wishful thinking circuits engaged) a very nearly block for block reissue of the #928 and a theme revival comprising of five other sets updated and expanded: #885 - Space Scooter #6821 - Shovel Buggy #6702 - Minifigure set with robots #6970 -…

I have three #6801 Moon Buggies. Why? Well. It was my children's birthday, thirty years ago. Three friends came with identical presents - said moon buggy. My parents said, "Wait, open only one, then we can return the other two to the store for different sets." But I wouldn't listen. Today I wish I had listened, of course,…
