Aside from possibly having a basic brick set, I think the first set I had was #3669 Fabuland Fire Station. The first set I remember opening and building was #6803 Space Patrol.

Still got the above, plus some used space as in the photos below. They all have instructions bit other than 886 they've been hole punched and 886 have been taped.
