Have you looked at Bricklink? They often show the underside of the bricks. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=P&catString=5 According to Bricklink, all the bricks in #6392 are all standard. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=6392-1

For me it was the #6392, the first airport in the town. I remember hours in front of the catalog looking at the set, and going to a shop near to my Grandma's house and see the set through the shop window. That year I got the #6368 Jet Airliner, but never got the airport. 4 years ago, when I finish to be LEGO Ambassador, I…

Finally got a chance to restore set #6392, bought aeons ago as part of a bulk lot. I enjoyed sourcing the bricks and building it, loved the airplane and helicopter. Some parts substitution and 99.9 complete minifigs. Nice play feature that you can open the cabin. Next builds from the lot will be classic space...

@cah - You can use the Inventory page of the set on Bricklink to identify the part and its design ID. If Lego doesn't have it, then someone somewhere in the world will and hope they are selling on BL. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=6392-1 I'm guessing your part is #4857 'White Slope 45 4 x 4 Double with…

I've been having an awesome week for finds! It kinda makes up for the months/years of drought where I haven't found anything too outstanding. In addition to the lot I mentioned a couple of posts ago I was found the following lot from another seller this week. #6392 #6368 and #611-2 All the parts are in excellent, like new…

The obvious answer here would be classic Galidor and Znap! On a more serious note, I wouldn't mind seeing a continuation of these sets, there's still plenty of classic '80s and '90s minifigs Lego hasn't covered yet: - Classic airport minifig (set 6392) - 6 button shirt guy (eg. set 6630) - overalls guy (eg. set 6504)…

I've got several lego sets that make up quite a good city, and want to get a couple more. Has anyone got any good suggestions? So far I have: 1592 Town Square 6374 Holiday Home 6384 Police Station 6385 Fire Station 6392 Airport 7754 Train Various cars, planes, helicopters Various construction vehicles (old and new) Several…

I recently sorted a large lot of 80s era LEGO. While most of the stuff was junky and incomplete, I did find a few gems. I have an incomplete Airport #6392 and King's Castle #6080. No instructions or boxes. The sets look like they were well-loved. See the pictures…

I came out of the Dark Ages with the City Corner in July of 2010. I went to the Tigard, OR LEGO Store with my wife and at the time 2 month old son and came out with the City Corner. I was thrilled. Growing up I always wanted to build a massive city, just never had enough pieces to be satisfied with it. Anyways about 2…
