#6271 is about 14.5 inches tall.

When it comes to Lego it needs to be 80s for me. These sets are good: 6277, 6080, 6085, 6066, 6054, 6085, 6077, 6071, 6271, 6285, 6271 If you dont have these, smaller sets from same period might be of interest too. I dont need boxes, but manuals would be nice.

I hear you. In my youth I stocked up on Pirate-themed ships, but 8 Imperial Flagships #6271 is a bit cumbersome to display and defend against dust.

Well, there's nothing complete for sure, but I see sails from #6274 #6271 and possibly #6285 in there along with mast and rigging parts and other pirates parts. There is also the wind surfboard from #6534 or similar.

I would much prefer to have 6271 Imperial Flagship than any of the alternatives you mention, although I think I could understand if you're bored of it and want something different and new.

Caribbean Clipper, Skull's Eye Schooner, Red Beard Runner, Cross Bone Clipper, Imperial Flagship(6271) and Renegade Runner are the ones with replica sails I reckon. Fantastic choices of sets in your article btw.
