So I have this local toyship nearby and it still has one set of 6243 for only 50 EUR, which is 72 USD or 43.9 GBP. This /is/ a deal right? Should I rush to the store and check if they still have it? And if so, buy it immediately or should I just let it slide? Thanks for the fast replies, I'm going to the store this…

I have the two pirates sets listed below for sale in the UK. Each are 100% complete with instructions and unused sticker sheet. The box for #6243 is just about perfect and the sails are tucked in the instructions to remain flat. #6243 Brickbeard's Bounty Pirates 2009 Box #6241 Loot Island Pirates 2009 No Box I'm asking…

I believe 4195 Queen Anne's Revenge actually is a reduced size box. I believe the size of the box is roughly on par with 6243 Brickbeard's Bounty, which has ~400 less pieces.

In the past month, I have watched a few used #6243 Brickbeard's Bounty, and the auction ending prices for very similar used models has varied from £37.21 to £119.90. What a really unusually large variance!

If you are building studs up, get some different sized slopes and mix them up a bit to make it look more random. Alternatively, go SNOT for more realism. See this tutorial for example: http://www.brickbuilt.org/?p=6243
