I am selling a lot of my Classic Castle sets and first up is #6085 Black Monarch's Castle. This set is from my personal collection. It is is in great condition and is complete except the string has broken (after 26 years it finally gave out), but can be easily replaced. The instructions are in great condition and has no…

Are there updated instructions for the older set that provided better more detailed information? I recently acquired a Lego Knight's set from 1988 and I had forgotten how bad the build guides were back then. There's nothing letting you know what pieces or how many are involved in each step let alone where they go and b/c…

Hello, I am trying to figure out which castle sets have been released by Samsonite in Canada in the 80ies. They would have solid plastic display trays (gray or blue) instead of clear plastic ones. So far, these are the "confirmed" ones: 1984: 6061 - gray 6073 - gray 6080 - gray 1988: 6066 - blue, gray (no pic) 6085 - blue,…

When it comes to Lego it needs to be 80s for me. These sets are good: 6277, 6080, 6085, 6066, 6054, 6085, 6077, 6071, 6271, 6285, 6271 If you dont have these, smaller sets from same period might be of interest too. I dont need boxes, but manuals would be nice.

That's an alternate build from #6085 Black Monarch's Castle! If you look at the set on the main page, it's the lower photograph.

#6085 is probably my favorite. I do think #6086 looks great as well, even though it uses a BURP.
