I don't doubt that there is appetite out there for more Classic Space LEGO. I'd simply love to be able to buy #918, #928, or #6985 as a "legacy" edition set, similarly I'd like to see #6080 done the same way... perhaps a 'greatest hits' range has legs, but on the evidence of the Legends theme I'm not convinced it…

Lego has always been expensive. I had a whole thing on inflation adjusted prices, but can't seem to find it. Here's a small sample of what I had. 725 Town Plan was $25 in 1961. In 2019 that's $215.6080 King's Castle was $52 in 1984. In 2019 it's $129.7190 Millennium Falcon was $100 in 2000. In 2019 it's $149.10185 Green…

Not the greatest setup and not everything I have. Have MMV elsewhere, joust and some other castles still not assembled. But my favorite, #6080 is there.

I remember going to my first baseball practice. I was 4 and it was the summer before kindergarten. Didn’t want to go but my mom made me. Ended up loving it and played through high school. Also remember getting #6080 for Christmas when I was 9. Was so excited, and still have the set.

How about a large scale model of #6080? My favorite childhood set.

Lucky that my parents kept all my old LEGO, including my beloved 6080. Also won an auction for around $30 that included several classic space sets.

Hi there, a long time ago I bought 6080 King's Castle but it came to my attention last week that I have a different types of the same bricks in the set. Can anyone tell me something more about them (BL don't distinguish them). Which of them are correct?

ABS bricks wear out over time. I have some childhood sets from the late 80s that barely hold together. The key statement that people seem to be missing is that @Cyberdragon said that he played with this set a lot as a kid. The more you assemble and disassemble are particular group of bricks, the more there wear down. As a…

Hello again. Today I have a complete (according to accompanying instructions) #6080 Kings Castle. Lovely condition, very playable, all 12 figures with all accessories and horses, all accessories hanging from the clips within the castle, instructions in a good state with no tears, tape or falling pages, it's just an all…

#6080 King's Castle was my best ever Christmas present. It's one of the oldest I can remember receiving, and it's probably the reason why I'm on this forum today.
