I think #6076 Dark Dragon's Den is one of the best sets ever, and the best name. I liked the alliterative names they used to do so often.

I have #6076 that was stored in my cousin's uninsulated attic in NC for over 20 years, so it saw temperatures ranging from zero to well over 100 degrees. No cracked or broken bricks.

1. $10 range: #6861 X1 Patrol Craft. So many cool Space parts! 2. $40-$50: #6076 Dark Dragon's Den. Just awesome. 3. unlimited: #75021 Republic Gunship. The improvements over the previous versions bring it to near perfect. (Still hoping for a fourth version!)

Last April I got #6076 that had been stored in the original box sitting in an attic in NC for over 25 years. Temperatures ranged from over 100 to below zero Fahrenheit. I ask because I'm in line to spend some serious cash on this lot: I know this isn't the place for valuations but how much would you pay for a lot of the following? Any input advice appreciated. I love lego but don't want ripped off. Lego…

Now my favourites are the Modulars (even though I don't own any, save for the mini), Creator (the buildings anyway), CMF, Harry Potter and Super Heroes. LOTR ain't so bad, but I only REALLY like Bag End. I used to really…

I visited family last week in NC and my cousin gave me all the LEGO we could find in his parent's attic. There were 2 #493 Command Centers, 2 #442 Space Shuttles, a #462 Mobile Rocket Launcher, and a couple hundred basic bricks that clearly had been very heavily played with before making their way to the attic. They are…

^ If #6046, #6075, and #6076 ( and not to mention #1596, #6024, #6034, #6036, #6066, or even #4817, #6020, and #6026 ) are legitimate castle sets, I don't think #9472 lacks in castle cred. Now, I agree that the aesthetic style of the LoTR sets is different from the in-house castle lines. However, LoTR fits squarely into…
