Looks like#6061: Siege Tower is the oldest on my list.#70173: Ultra Agents Ocean HQ is the newest. I blinked and I missed it...#7417: Temple of Mount Everest has been there for the longest time. I've wanted it since I was five and got the rest of the theme. Aside from a few crummy polybags, it's the only one I'm missing.…

In the process of piecing together a copy of #6061 and it looks to be complete with instructions.... Stay tuned.

There's four mounted knights in that set, each of them comes with a blue cape, for example (BL): Breastplate - Red with Black Arms, Red Legs with Black Hips, Dark Gray Grille Helmet, Blue Plume, Blue Cape Can also be seen in the instructions: http://www.peeron.com/scans/6080-1/2 Now that I think of it, #6073 Knight's…

Scratch the ten foot pole comment .. Those plates resemble the early snot bricks (2434 from '90 & 6061 from '92 - I suspect those plates were made around the same time), but those parts only seemed to be used for attaching stuff on the side TLG have put out a lot of snot bricks, modified plates, bars, bows and arches so I…

Same as @shib, stocking of smaller presents at the end of the bed from father christmas and then main presents around the tree after breakfast. I still remember waking up at 3am and having #6061, #6040 and #6030 opened and built before anyone else was up. Downstairs I had #6074 and #6067 waiting for me.

I dunno, I think #6286 Skull Eye Schooner is better. :) I love the new sets, but lets face it, many play sets today are just that, there are no alternative models that were designed for those sets much anymore. The 80s sets were 'basic' but it was for their time, and also forced builders to become creative with the sets…

As a kid I really really really wanted to have #6080 (King's Castle released in 1984), but alas I never got it, as well as the 'Yellow Castle' even though that had already retired, probably several years earlier. I did however get #6073 (Knight's Castle, also released in 1984), the Black Falcon fortress, although in the…

I have resigned myself to remove themes not City/town from my collection, but in that time I also started slowly gathering 80's Castle sets from my youth and holding on to them, so I have a bin with the original #6074 Black Falcon's Fortress, #6080 Kings Castle #6085 Black Monarchs Castle, #6067 Guarded inn, #6061 Siege…

Yes, but keep in mind that you know all about Kingdoms, but the target audience of Castle does not. An 8 year old today was not paying attention when Kingdoms was out, now he is ready for Castle, so they are all new. LEGO has to keep redoing the same stuff every 2-3 years because they have a whole new batch of customers…
